'The WRNS in Wartime'

See examples of my writing via the website for my book 'The WRNS in Wartime, the Women's Royal Naval Service 1917-1945', which formed the basis of my PhD and was published as a manuscript in 2017. The work is based on extensive archive research, oral history interviews with previous members of the WRNS, and wider historical research to explore the social, political, economic and military reasons for the creation, disbanding and recreation of this important women's auxiliary service.
